The Role We are seeking an experienced, EHS Specialist to lead the stand-up and ongoing operation of our new ~80,000 sq. ft. flagship manufacturing facility in Cypress, CA. This site will become the primary production hub for the company. This role is responsible for owning all aspects of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). Reporting to the Head of Production, you will serve as the single-threaded owner for safety programs, conduct safety trainings, investigate accidents and hazards and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or reduce potential risks. As Lead Production Engineer, you will define how Production Engineering operates day-to-day, hire and develop a team of Production Engineers, and serve as the primary bridge between Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This is a player-coach role - you carry your own technical workload while growing the people around you. Where Manufacturing Engineers own the front end - BOMs, Engineering Masters, work instructions, formboards - you own execution.
