About this role
Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) Work Location (Country) Serbia | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Mechanical Engineer will join the production engineering team at our location in Subotica and will develop the housings and mechanical construction of EMC test generators and accessories according to company standards. The candidate should be an experienced user of SolidWorks CAD package and ideally have previous experience with electronic/electrical component and system construction. This person will interface regularly with suppliers, manufacturing and other engineering groups (including hardware, Firmware and test engineers). Location: Subotica, Serbia. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Create new or maintain existing mechanical designs Prepare mechanical designs, 2/3D equipment layouts. Prepare specifications, equipment and construction drawings for our suppliers. Documentation and qualification of the new mechanical parts, front- and back plates. Maintain the existing mechanical library. Set up and maintain ERP part lists Process ECN's (Engineering Change Notice). Act as liaison between engineering and operations. Participate in Critical Design Review process. Participation in transfer to production Work closely with design engineers, operations and test departments to solve any production issues. Test new designs to spec Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelors Degree (or higher level qualification) in Mechanical Engineering or associated subject. 5+ years' experience in mechanical and electronic design. 3+ years experience in electromechanical design Good/strong
