Mechanical Design Engineer I Brno-Mesto, Czech Republic Mechanical Design Engineer I Brno-Mesto, Czech Republic (Hybrid) Job Description As an Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will report directly to our Senior Mechanical Engineering Supervisor and you'll work out of our Brno location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will work on mechanical design at both basic and complex level and perform mechanical work in the company shop to support prototype builds and tests. You will be part of European international defense projects, navigation and engineering test solutions. Responsibilities Key responsibilities Contribute on the mechanical design process, from concept to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications. Support design and development of complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. Support modification of prototypes in available laboratory Qualifications Key Experience & Capabilities University Graduate - mechanical design preferred Knowledge of the following CAD systems is required: PTC Creo Parametric and Siemens NX Knowledge of Siemens TeamCenter. Upper-Intermediate level of knowledge of MS Office - MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point. Under supervision, solve complex task issues using engineering knowledge, tools and principals. Good orientation in technical sources and search capabilities of required technical information. English - minimum B1 language level. Team player
