About this role
Regional Facilities Manager, Global Facility Management, BXM - RME Central Warsaw, Woj. Mazowieckie, POL Amazon is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) to join our expanding Global Facility Management Team (GFM) as part of the growing Global Reliability Central Team (GRCT) in Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME). The RFM will play a crucial role in overseeing operational facility services during Amazon's rapid growth and technological innovation. The Amazon RME team maintains and optimizes technologies ranging from large, modern, purpose-built warehouses utilizing robotics and high-volume conveyance all the way through the value chain to small, high speed warehouses placed as close to our customers as possible. The GFM team focuses on ensuring that all Amazon buildings adhere to the highest standards in both hard and soft services. The primary goal is to guarantee reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance across our facilities in collaboration with local RME teams. Key job responsibilities The ideal candidate will play a crucial role to ensure that base building maintenance and soft services meet our standards across the network, guaranteeing compliance, safety, minimal downtime, and developing projects to innovate and optimize while monitoring total cost of ownership (TCO). • Provide tools for local teams to manage the performance of soft and hard services. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to local teams. • Act as an escalation point for safety, quality service, and downtime incidents. • Act as technical vendor manager to govern vendors and ensure continued high performance, including measuring KPIs and SLAs. • Collaborate with
