About this role
Business Development Manager, AU Mass Vendor Recruitment (MVR) Sydney, New South Wales, AUS Amazon's Retail team, located in Sydney, is looking for a Business Development Manager with a passion for identifying, onboarding, and launching new supplier opportunities. Working at the centre of the Amazon flywheel, you will be responsible for utilising data to identify the selection gaps that are most important to customers across multiple categories, initiating and developing strong relationships with suppliers who can provide this selection, and then account managing these suppliers to ensure a successful launch and ongoing growth. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and growing supplier relationships with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. While this role will be primarily external facing for new supplier recruitment, the Business Development Manager will also be required to work with cross-functional internal teams to identify opportunities and best practices within areas such as category, customer marketing, product set-up, supply chain, and advertising to devise the right onboarding and launch plans for new suppliers. To succeed in this environment, the ideal candidate will have a high degree of ownership, be eager to learn, and autonomously identify the right solutions for their suppliers. Our retail team operates out of our fabulous CBD office conveniently located near many transportation options.
