About this role
Subsidiary Controller Tel Aviv, HQ, Israel Wonderful enables enterprises to build, test, deploy, and monitor AI agents for their most complex needs, serving customers and employees seamlessly across voice, chat, email, and back-office systems in any language or cultural context. We are seeking a Subsidiary Controller to help build the company's global financial infrastructure from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that combines professional leadership, day-to-day execution , and close partnership with senior management. Responsibilities - Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with US GAAP - Prepare and maintain management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, forecasts) - Manage ongoing work with external auditors , tax advisors, and financial institutions - Oversee cash flow management , including budget vs. actual monitoring - Provide financial and strategic support to the management team in decision-making - Establish and implement internal controls and financial processes - Oversee payroll, vendors, customers, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations (as needed, together with bookkeeping) - Prepare materials for the board and investors , including financial reports and analyses - Support fundraising processes , grants, and loans as needed Requirements - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - must - 2-3 years of experience as a Controller in a company and/or at an accounting firm (Big 4) - must - Previous experience in a tech/startup environment - must - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Israeli tax regulations (or relevant local tax laws) - High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP
