The Lead Engineer will have technical ownership of upper powertrain components for internal combustion engines, including air manifolds, cylinder heads and water jackets, valves and rotators, rocker arms, and push rods. Responsibilities include component design and design validation, supporting cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing and remanufacturing process optimization, and providing manufacturing and assembly support at Wabtec's Grove City, PA engine facilities (GRV and GRR). This position is in-person and on-site at our Grove City facility. The role requires demonstrated experience in reciprocating engine development with component‑level expertise to develop and evaluate designs that satisfy application‑specific requirements for durability, performance, reliability, and total life‑cycle cost.
