About this role
Space Planning Manager Japan - Tokyo The Manager of Space Planning will primarily represent the JAPAC region and is responsible for managing all occupancy planning and workplace strategy at the building level within the given portfolio. This person is a skilled relationship builder and problem solver with excellent communication skills coupled with strong data analytical skills. This person has the ability to execute tactically while seeing the big picture. This role will partner closely with Workplace Services, Strategy, Projects, Design and our Business Partner and teams to align on space strategies and support the execution of workplace initiatives including FDOBs, restacks, migrations and consolidations. Experience with space planning in flexible workplace environments is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary critical thinking, communication and storytelling skills. Proven success to operate in a dynamic environment that moves with pace and the ability to work through ambiguity is highly desired. This role reports to the Director, Global Space Planning, supporting the JAPAC region, the JAPAC Regional Space Planning Lead and is based in Tokyo. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a Space Planning point of contact for JAPAC and may support other global regions as needed overseeing space planning activities to align real estate strategy with business unit goals and objectives. Develop and recommend scenario plans to support the expansion and contraction of the business at the site level, new office builds, restacks, refreshes, and migration plans including alternative workplace solutions.
