Escrow Officer - Green Brick Title Plano, TX, US Overview The Escrow Officer must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be H onest, O bjective, M ature and E fficient in how he or she approaches their role at Green Brick Partners. An Escrow Officer manages the escrow account and ensures all conditions of the sale are met before money and property change hands, serving as the primary authority responsible for guiding a real estate transaction from opening through closing. Escrow Officers oversee the accuracy and completeness of all documents, review lender instructions, coordinate with buyers, sellers, and agents, and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies at every stage of the process. Because they are the main party responsible for all transactions, Escrow Officers must exercise strong judgment, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain clear, timely communication with all parties to facilitate a smooth and successful closing experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the transaction Review lender instructions and prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs) for loan transactions and HUDs for cash transactions Send HUDs/CDs to seller for approval Send CDs to lender f
