Quality Engineer Sr. PE Peru Plt As a Quality Engineer Sr, this position supports manufacturing process and product quality by applying Goodyear standards, procedures, and quality engineering tools to solve problems in a production environment. The role leverages a strong understanding of internal and external customer and supplier requirements to improve customer satisfaction, process capability, and overall product performance. Serving as a technical content expert, the incumbent coaches and guides others in applying effective technical solutions, Plant Optimization (PO) methods, and data-driven problem-solving approaches. The position also leads product and process improvements, anticipates and mitigates risks, and ensures solutions meet defined business and quality objectives. Drives plant performance by leading audits, closing non‑conformances, and improving key quality indicators such as scrap and process capability. What You Will Do Ensures robust new tire launches by aligning with NPI development, design-for-uniformity principles, and process concepts that enable consistent, high-quality tire releases. Safeguards product and process quality by ensuring GQMTS and QAI alignment with local procedures, leading LPAs, FMEA, and Control Plan execution while reinforcing adherence to quality fundamentals.
