Customer Service Representative - Hereford, TX Customer Service Representative - Hereford, TX A clerical position provides essential administrative, clerical and general office support to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Key duties include scale operation, filing, data entry, answering phones, managing mail, customer service and handling basic bookkeeping. They often act as the first point of contact, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Common Responsibilities - Scale Duties: Entering data, weighing trucks, grading grains, confirmation of policies with high accuracy. - Data Entry & Management: Updating records, Excel spreadsheets, and databases with high accuracy. - Administrative Support: Filing documents, scanning, photocopying, and organizing records. - Communication: Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls; sorting and distributing mail; and managing emails. - Customer/Visitor Service: Greeting clients, answering inquiries, and directing visitors. - Office Maintenance: Monitoring and ordering office supplies, maintaining clean, organized workspaces, and operating office equipment. Key Qualifications & Skills - Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required. - Experience: Previous experience in a similar office or administrative role is often preferred. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), AGRIS accounting system a plus, and general office hardware. - Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
