Bring passion and dedication to your job and there is no telling what you could accomplish. We are seeking a Global Commodity Manager to join our AppleCare team. In this role, you will manage continuity of supply, warranty redemption, supplier quality claims, repair and testing, reverse logistics, and costs for service products components. You will collaborate cross-functionally to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. As a Global Commodity Manager, you will design and implement solutions that achieve business-critical metrics for the AppleCare supply chain. You will partner closely with planning, purchasing, finance, engineering, and quality teams to ensure full support throughout the service phase of the product lifecycle. You will also leverage data, systems, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and optimize supply chain performance. Develop an understanding of the commodity landscape to forecast trends, identify market dynamics, and negotiate optimal sourcing terms that meet Apple's performance criteria. Manage costs for warranty, seed stock, repairs, and out-of-production replacement parts, and perform spend analysis for strategic procurement deals. Design and optimize repair and replacement supply chains through cost and capacity scenario analysis, benchmarking, and securing continuity of supply. Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to verify root causes, identify failure rates, assess financial impacts, and settle quality claims.
