About this role
Sunpower Assembler Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Assembler works as part of an assembly team having responsibility for creating individual components, sub-assemblies, and final assembly of the entire product. The incumbents are required to perform repetitive manufacturing assembly operations with little supervision. Title and c ompensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates meeting more preferred qualifications may be considered for a higher-level assembler position with corresponding compensation. Minimum Requirements for Consideration: Good communication (oral and written) skills. Presents positive impact within the work group by assisting co-workers. Continuously develop skills through training, observation, and/or through additional education. Demonstrated ability in plasma and laser welding, brazing, soldering, and hand assembly. Experience reading mechanical drawings, process documents, and quality inspection documents. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: CNC operation experiernce Mechanic experience HVAC experience Small electronics assembly (ex. building computers) An Associate's degree in electronics or a technical school degree. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
