Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design - Engineer, deploy, and manage load balancing solutions (L4-L7) to support high-availability applications and services - Design and implement traffic management strategies including SSL offload, content switching, GSLB, and application acceleration - Configure and support platforms such as F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), A10, or cloud-native load balancers - Optimize application performance through tuning of persistence profiles, health monitors, iRules/policies, and traffic steering logic - Lead efforts in capacity planning, failover design, and disaster recovery for application delivery infrastructure - Troubleshoot complex network and application performance issues across multi-tier environments - Partner with application, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services - Implement and maintain secure traffic flows, including WAF integration, TLS best practices, and DDoS mitigation strategies - Automate load balancer provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or vendor APIs - Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks for traffic engineering and load
