The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced, professional paralegal who is a team player and can perform a variety of paralegal functions, is familiar with the patent prosecution process and terminology, and has a high aptitude for understanding technology and software. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, able to manage patent prosecution processes and understand associated documents and due dates, perform basic research and writing, and assist attorneys to prioritize and schedule legal tasks. Experience in other practice areas, such as litigation, is a plus. Role/responsibilities : - Works as a member of a cohesive, professional paralegal team. - Consistently exhibits the desire, aptitude and drive to learn and master support to our patent program including processes to support invention disclosures, patent preparation, U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent rewards, licensing and compliance tracking, government reporting, patent prosecution metrics, budget, legal research and various projects as assigned. - Assists attorneys with open-source license and compliance programs, trademark portfolio management and filings, research, and preparation
