About this role

Software Engineer II, Data Products Remote This is a fully remote role within the United States. We're looking for a frontend-leaning Software Engineer II who loves building intuitive, data-rich user experiences and wants their work to matter. At Turquoise Health, we're making healthcare pricing transparent and understandable, and the interfaces you build will be how hospitals, insurers, and everyday people actually make sense of that data. You'll be a key member of a small, highly skilled engineering team, collaborating closely with the product team to shape the user experience from the component level up to the product decisions that influence them. While this is a full stack role and you'll touch backend systems, your primary impact will be in crafting the UI layer: turning complex healthcare pricing data into clean, interactive, and performant web experiences. We're a fast moving startup, so you'll move fast too, taking on varied problems, shipping real features, and collaborating directly with the people who use what you build. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Development of Django-based websites using Python, Postgresql, etc. - Build frontend data visualization components that enable users to explore and interpret complex healthcare pricing data - Write effective, scalable code. - Test and debug programs - Improve functionality of existing systems - Assess and prioritize feature requests - Coordinate with other team members to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE: - 3+ years work experience in Python, or strong experience in another programming language and some exposure to
