About this role

Senior Revenue Analyst Dallas, TX We are seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our revenue accounting team for the Navan Expense product. This individual will own crucial month-end close activities, ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606, and maintain strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical accounting skills and a commitment to process improvement and automations. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in processing large amounts of financial data but also challenges the status quo when things don't look right. What You'll Do: Prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenue and revenue-related transactions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP. Prepare monthly account reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate reporting. Support external and internal audits by providing documentation, analysis, and explanations of revenue-related transactions. Collaborate with the Product, Operations and IT teams to ensure data relied upon for revenue accounting is complete and accurate. Drive process improvements and automations within the revenue recognition cycle to enhance efficiency and scalability. Ensuring appropriate application of internal controls related to the revenue cycle to ensure SOX compliance. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and projects. A strong team player that participates in accomplishing team goals. Provide revenue reporting and analysis to senior leadership and other stakeholders. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance CPA license preferred 3+ years of experience in accounting 2+ years auditing experience at a public accounting firm is preferred Strong, in-depth understanding of GAAP
