EHS Engineer Songpa Gu Seoul Position Summary The EHS Engineer manages Environment, Health & Safety operations for Teradyne Korea, ensuring compliance with Korean EHS regulations and global standards. This role acts as the primary EHS focal point, overseeing risk management, contractor safety, and site EHS activities. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act (KOSHA) and Teradyne global EHS standards. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations with corrective action follow‑up. Manage mandatory EHS training and promote a strong safety culture. Oversee contractor and high‑risk work safety activities. Liaise with government authorities during audits and inspections. Manage environmental compliance, including hazardous materials and waste disposal. Support EHS‑related facility management activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Eligible to be appointed as a Safety Manager under the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act (산업안전보건법 시행령). 2-4 years of experience in EHS or safety‑related roles. Strong knowledge of Korean EHS regulations. Fluent in Korean and English. Preferred Qualifications Certified Industrial Safety Consultant (산업안전지도사) preferred. Industrial Safety Engineer certification (산업안전기사 이상). Experience with ISO 45001 or contractor/high‑risk work management. Firefighting and first aid certifications.
