Role Overview The Senior Assay Technician will perform routine analyses independently as assigned by the laboratory supervisor. In addition, the Senior Assay Technician may be assigned method development or method system suitability studies to be carried out independently Reporting to: Assay Laboratory Supervisor Work Schedule: 2 weeks on-site, 2 weeks off-site Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Demonstrated competency in all essential functions described in the Assay Tech Trainee through Assay Tech V job descriptions Carry out independent studies under the direction of the laboratory supervisor to determine the validity of changes to analytical procedures, or to test new analytical procedures so that the accuracy and precision of new methods can be confirmed prior to initiating the procedure throughout the laboratory Me
