Role Overview Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations is recruiting for a temporary Waste Management Coordinator to support the updating and implementation of RDO's waste management and recycling programs. The position will coordinate with all departments to accomplish the outlined goals and will report to the Environmental Team Lead. Work Schedule: 2 weeks on-site, 2 weeks off-site for a period of approximately 24 months Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Improvement & standardization of SAA and CAA compliant management practices Development/improvement of tracking systems for compliant management of: Scrap metal Used oil and glycol streams Scrap vehicles & equipment Other solid waste & recyclable streams Identification of opportunities & implement means to maximize recycling for all waste streams Development/imple
