About this role

Cost Accountant Austin, TX, Austin, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire an experienced Cost Accountant to be based at our Austin, TX HQ with occasional travel to our facility in Wilmer, TX. This is a hands-on, critical role for someone who thrives on the plant floor as much as they do in the numbers, managing and improving manufacturing cost accounting processes, strengthening financial controls, and helping drive a faster, more efficient monthly close. You'll work closely with plant operations, supply chain, and corporate finance, while also serving as a key finance partner to the GM for ad hoc accounting and financial analysis. What You'll Do Cost Accounting & Inventory - Maintain and analyze product and manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, overhead, and variances.
