SUPERVISOR, PRODUCTION - SOLAR CELL FACTORY (STARLINK) - DAY SHIFT At SpaceX, we are building the next generation of space infrastructure to enable large-scale AI data centers in orbit. These orbital AI platforms require massive amounts of reliable, high-efficiency solar power to support intensive computing workloads in space. To make this possible, we are standing up one of the largest solar cell manufacturing facilities in the world. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support the ramp-up and sustained operation of high-volume solar cell production lines. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to lead frontline teams while enabling SpaceX's ambitious vision for AI data centers in space. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute daily shift operations on high-volume solar cell production lines, driving output to meet aggressive ramp-up schedules - Monitor and improve end-to-end performance metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost-per-watt for space-grade solar cells - Coach and develop production specialists, technicians, and associates in a 24/7 environment, providing hands-on guidance - Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor to optimize processes and quality - Collaborate with supporting teams to maximize line uptime and minimize disruptions, escalating
