SUPERVISOR, MACHINE MAINTENANCE - SOLAR CELL FACTORY (STARLINK) - DAY SHIFT At SpaceX, we are building the next generation of space infrastructure to enable large-scale AI data centers in orbit. These orbital AI platforms require massive amounts of reliable, high-efficiency solar power to support intensive computing workloads in space. To make this possible, we are standing up one of the largest solar cell manufacturing facilities in the world. We are seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Supervisor to support the ramp-up and reliability of advanced production equipment, reporting directly to the Machine Maintenance Manager. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to lead maintenance teams while enabling SpaceX's ambitious vision for AI data centers in space. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead shift teams of maintenance specialists, technicians, and associates for 24/7 reliability of solar cell production equipment - Execute maintenance strategies (preventative, predictive, corrective) targeting >95% availability - Perform rapid troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on vacuum deposition, chemical, and automation systems - Coordinate with Production and Facility Operations teams to schedule maintenance with minimal output impact - Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination on shifts while optimizing costs - Drive
