Full Stack Engineer, Staff Platform DevXP California - San Francisco; Washington - Seattle Overview of the Role The Platform Developer Experience team is responsible for building tooling that developers use to create integrations for Slack. We are a group of generalists who are comfortable working across languages, and we are actively involved in the GitHub community where we share updates and respond to developer feedback. We are looking for a Staff Full-Stack Engineer who is passionate about crafting a phenomenal developer experience for all developers building on the Slack Platform. With Agentforce woven into every layer of our platform, our engineers build intelligent systems that automate the repetitive, elevate the strategic, and power better decisions at scale. This role is based in our Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA offices in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities Partner with Product Managers and Designers to ideate, build, and launch new features for our developer ecosystem Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of your development workflow Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, driving efficiency and innovation at scale Mentor engineers and provide thoughtful, in-depth code reviews, and support production excellence by partnering with Customer Experience teams to triage and resolve issues Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications and developer tooling, with proficiency in JavaScript (JS), TypeScript, and Python Hands-on experience with API design and development, including an understanding of what
