Director, Quality Assurance Remote - Detroit/San Francisco Building the Quality Infrastructure for Integrated Hardware and Software at Scale Rockbot is an omnichannel media platform powering in-venue experiences across music, TV, digital signage, and advertising - spanning nearly every industry from independent restaurants to large national brands. Our integrated products connect physical hardware (sensors, streaming media devices, A/V systems) to cloud-based analytics and services, which means quality cannot be an afterthought. As we scale our platform and customer base, the bar for product reliability and performance must rise with it. We are investing in a more rigorous, data-driven approach to quality - one that treats QA as an engineering discipline, not a final checkpoint. We are hiring a Director, Quality Assurance to lead our global quality strategy and build the systems, processes, and culture required to validate complex integrated products at scale. This is a pivotal builder role. The ideal candidate has moved beyond simple pass/fail testing and brings both firmware/hardware validation expertise and modern software automation leadership - someone who views QA as a strategic function and a competitive advantage.
