Bankrate's BI team is the connective tissue between raw data and the decisions that drive the business. As Manager of Business Intelligence, you'll lead a team of analysts, own a portfolio of high-visibility reporting and analytics initiatives, and serve as the bridge between stakeholders and the data foundation we're building. This is a player-coach role; you'll be doing real analytical work alongside your team, not just managing it. What You'll Do: - Lead and develop a team of 2-4 BI analysts across assigned verticals - Own end-to-end delivery of dashboards, data models, and ad hoc analysis - primarily in Looker and Databricks and other proprietary systems. - Serve as the primary BI point of contact for several business categories - Translate ambiguous business and data questions into structured analytical problems and ship answers fast - Partner with data engineering on pipeline work, schema changes, and data quality issues - Spot gaps in coverage, documentation, and process - and fix them proactively - Support the Head of BI in roadmap planning, stakeholder prioritization, and team capacity management - Stay in the work - this role requires hands-on contribution, not just oversigh What We're Looking
