About this role
Workplace Experience Associate New York, New York, United States About the Role Orchard is looking for a People Operations & Workplace Experience Associate to own the day-to-day operations of our New York City office and support HR programs and processes across the company. You'll be responsible for making sure the office runs smoothly and fostering a sense of community within our NYC team. More broadly, you'll work closely with the HR team to support the entire employee lifecycle, touching onboarding and offboarding, employee experience, HRIS management, and planning team events. The ideal candidate will be looking to gain broad exposure to various disciplines within HR and can move quickly in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-office role based in NYC that reports to the Manager, People Operations What You'll Do Here - As the first point of contact in the New York Office, manage the overall operations and ensure the best experience for employees, guests, candidates, and vendors - Work closely with IT, support vendors, building management, and other stakeholders to ensure the office is running smoothly at all times - Coordinate seamless new hire onboarding experiences and manage offboarding processes, ensuring every employee starts and finishes their journey on a great note. - Work closely with the People team to support projects and day-to-day tasks related to the employee lifecycle. Some examples include administering promotions and transfers, completing employment verifications, and maintaining employee data in our HRIS and other systems - Partner with managers and HR team
