Consumer Marketing Lead, Japan Tokyo, Japan, Tokyo, Japan About the Role We are seeking an experienced and versatile Consumer Marketing Lead for Japan to define and drive our consumer marketing strategy and execution in one of our most important and culturally nuanced markets. This is a critical leadership role for a full-stack marketer with deep understanding of the Japanese consumer landscape-someone who can build and scale locally resonant campaigns, shape narratives that build trust, and accelerate adoption at scale. The ideal candidate combines strong consumer marketing instincts with the ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments and move quickly in a fast-evolving category. This role will lead integrated marketing initiatives that span brand, product storytelling, digital, creators, and partnerships, while serving as the voice of the Japanese consumer internally. Key Responsibilities - Lead the development and execution of Japan-specific consumer marketing strategies, ensuring strong local relevance while aligning with global priorities. - Drive full-funnel marketing initiatives across multiple audiences, including consumers, opinion leaders, and partners. - Act as a local expert and thought partner-bringing deep insights into Japanese culture, consumer behavior, and media dynamics to inform strategy, creative, and execution. - Manage and collaborate with local agencies, creators, and production partners to deliver culturally authentic, high-quality campaigns and content. - Partner closely with cross-functional teams including product marketing, communications, partnerships, and regional leadership to deliver integrated programs with clear impact. - Represent the voice of Japan internally, ensuring local nuance, context, and market realities are reflected in marketing strategy, messaging,
