About this role
Investment Strategist New York, NY Position Overview: This Wealth Advisor Team is seeking an Investment Strategist to lead the investment process for the Team's clients by developing comprehensive portfolio solutions including the development of strategic asset allocation models and tactical asset allocation recommendations. The Investment Strategist will implement customized investment solutions for the Team's clients that leverage the institutional capabilities of the Firm's Investment Strategy Group as well as the institutional knowledge of the Asset Allocation Committee. The Investment Strategist should have a proven track record of developing customized portfolio solutions for clients by utilizing both proprietary and third-party managers, as well as communication views on market outlook broadly. The Investment Strategist must have strong investment expertise and analytic skills, as well as strong communication, presentation and writing skills. Primary Responsibilities: Leveraging the views established by the firm's institutional asset management leadership to actively contribute to developing strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations for private wealth clientele Driving process and provide investment expertise to build optimal portfolios Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses on investments topics; build models when necessary; and contributing to presentations, white papers and articles Presenting regularly to existing clients and prospects Experience & Skills Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of experience constructing portfolios on behalf of HNW clients or institutions A comprehensive understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection Proven ability to partner with Advisors to present, consult and advise HNW clients to achieve their financial goals Keen understanding of the global macro environment,
