Sensor Hardware Integration Engineer Sunnyvale, CA At Meta Reality Labs we aim to bring together the cross-disciplinary minds in one place to deliver on our mission: build tools that help people feel connected, anytime, anywhere. As a Sensor Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of our System EE Team for the next generation Smart Glasses; driving the sensor electrical design and development, working on leading edge technologies, and collaborating with the cross-functional teams to deliver on our HW platforms. You will be part of a tight-knit group of highly skilled engineers at the forefront of the innovation for Meta HW products (MR/VR, etc.). Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners to push the boundaries of technologies and deliver sensor solutions in battery operated products - Lead efforts to integrate new sensor modalities into high volume consumer products through all stages of product development (from prototyping, design through mass production) - Leverage analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals to build, debug, and validate prototypes - Apply electrical engineering fundamentals to convert reference designs into custom product solutions. Design schematics, supervise board/Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) layouts, and actively participate in design reviews to support sensors integration into product - Optimize sensor architecture, sensor component selection and sensing system design - Work closely with Contract Manufacturer / Joint Development Manufacturer CM/JDM resources to leverage their engineers and maximize the focus of internal resources on adding value to and differentiating our product - Perform lab measurements and factory tests as
