Azure Data Engineer UNAVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Data Engineer to join our Information Technology Team. This is a remote position. Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms on Azure. This role will be instrumental in advancing our data modernization strategy, including Azure Fabric adoption, data lakehouse architecture, and integration of enterprise systems such as ERP, MDM, and analytics platforms. This role will work closely with business, analytics, and governance teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions that enable trusted, data-driven decision-making. What Will You Do? Design and implement scalable data platforms using Azure (ADLS, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric). Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric pipelines, notebooks (PySpark/Spark SQL), and Azure Integration Services (ADF, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus). Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and Lakehouse design patterns. Develop and maintain data models (dimensional, star/snowflake where applicable). Integrate data from heterogeneous sources (ERP, APIs, flat files, streaming sources, MDM/PIM systems). Develop data processing solutions for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Enable Power BI datasets and semantic models to support reporting and analytics. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Repo.
