Senior Manager Commercial Operations, Japan Remote | Tokyo, JAPAN, Japan Company Description: Job Description: Primary Function of Position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Operations for Japan. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, Japan and Korea, this role will be responsible for driving sales alignment, commercial excellence, and organizational capability across Japan and APAC's direct markets. The Senior Manager will collaborate with regional and country leadership to establish, coordinate, and scale commercialization strategies that accelerate growth, strengthen sales execution, and enhance Intuitive' s standards of excellence. The role includes supporting key sales roles and programs, developing global customer reference sites, and leading strategic projects that enable the region to meet and exceed its commercial objectives. This position requires close partnership with market commercial leadership to align business priorities, deploy resources effectively, and ensure consistent field execution. Core areas of responsibility include strategic planning, sales enablement, leadership development, and performance optimization across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of how to align with customers, and the ability to clearly convey how Intuitive' s technologies and products create meaningful value for hospitals, care teams, and patients. They should have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performance commercial teams, inspiring others across diverse cultures and markets, and communicating with clarity, empathy, and impact.
