Wetland Scientist/Field Biologist – Part-time (hourly) Austin, TX Wetland Scientist/Field Biologist - Part-time (hourly) Remote - Texas ICF's Environment & Planning Division is seeking a motivated On-Call Wetland Scientist/Field Biologist to join our Texas-based environmental consulting team. In this role, you will: Help our clients solve their toughest environmental regulatory challenges, with a focus on delivering exceptional work and rigorous analysis. Support interdisciplinary teams of wetland scientists, biologists, ecologists, and regulatory specialists-to develop strong, defensible findings for client questions. Develop a wide range of experience while assisting in the completion of a variety of wetland and/or biological fieldwork projects throughout Texas and the region. Gain exposure to protected species surveys, habitat and water resources assessments, and Waters of the U.S. delineations for a variety of energy, transportation, water, and other infrastructure projects. Collaborate with project managers, technical experts, and regulatory agencies to successfully deliver projects on time with high quality standards. Leverage your curiosity and agility to tackle today's challenges and offer consistency and accountability in project delivery. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist with wetland delineations, endangered species habitat assessments, and other support fieldwork activities. Be a positive, fun, curious, organized, self-motivated and supportive addition to our team. Be available and enthusiastic to travel as needed for project locations throughout Texas and the region. Travel requirements are variable, however ICF strives to work with all staff to develop mutually agreed-upon fieldwork schedules. Driving is typically required to reach remote job sites.
