SUPO, where required) The Mission of the Engineering Lead, Mechanical Engineering As Engineering Lead for Mechanical Engineering, you will be a founding member of the team responsible for bringing ICEYE's next-generation optical satellite platform to life - from early concept design all the way through to in-orbit validation. You will lead and work hands-on alongside a small, high-impact team, driving the mechanical design, structural analysis, and optimization of the satellite platform while overseeing manufacturing, testing, and qualification campaigns. Working directly with component manufacturers and subcontractors, you will ensure that every part meets the precise requirements of a system built to perform in the harsh realities of space - owning the problems that arise along the way and iterating until the mission is complete.
