Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design Chennai, TN Job Overview We are looking forward to “Engineer - Mechanical Design” based in Chennai, India. The position requires a highly energetic, result-driven, self-motivated, and proactive individual with sound knowledge of Mechanical Design and development. The candidate should also possess strong Leadership, interpersonal, presentation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder relationship management skills. Other core competency requirements are Customer focus, Strategic thinking, Functional Excellence, Integrity & Ethics, and Professional Maturity. Overall candidates should have around 8+ years of experience in Mechanical product design and development. Good Knowledge of Product Design and Development of electromechanical products (Sheet metal Design, Plastic design). Need to collaborate & work with US product engineering team. Design the product as per UL, IEEE and NEMA standards. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Need to understand the electrical products and conceptualize new ideas for new product development and for the betterment of existing products Need to perform electromechanical calculations. Need to design the product as per UL, IEEE & NEMA standards. Need to create Drawings based on ASME Y14.5M - 2009 standards. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software modeling, Assembly configurations, drafting, routing & Electrical harnesses. Good Knowledge of plastics,
