Essential Duties and Responsibilities OVERVIEW: This role is primarily responsible for general ledger and cost accounting activities, including financial closing, inventory valuation, and product costing. In addition, the role supports cost-related planning, forecasting, and reporting activities to provide insights into operational performance and cost management. THE ROLE Manage general ledger accounting including month-end closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Perform cost accounting activities including standard cost setting, variance analysis, and product costing. Manage inventory valuation and ensure accuracy of balance sheet and COGS. Support cost-related planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Prepare and analyze cost variances versus plan and prior periods.
