About this role

Head of Supply Chain Thousand Oaks, CA, US Position Overview The Head of Supply Chain for Fujifilm Biotechnologies California's cell therapy contract development and manufacturing facility is responsible for oversight of the GMP warehouse, raw material planning, procurement, storage, packaging, clinical/commercial distribution, global logistics, and ERP system administration. This role has accountability for ensuring availability of materials and intermediates to support delivery of the site's production plans to support client's clinical and commercial supply of cell-based therapeutics. The Head of Supply Chain will own the strategic plan for the supply chain department including budget, staffing, training, policies and procedures, continuous improvement, compliance and safety. The role is responsible for ensuring excellent execution including tactical oversight of day-to-day operations. The Supply Chain department includes warehouse operations, product packing, planning, procurement, global logistics, and ERP business process ownership, with a span of control of approximately 25 staff members. The role will be a member of the Site Leadership Team.
