About the Role Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for a business-minded Senior Commercial Counsel, with deep experience drafting and negotiating customer agreements with leading global and domestic organizations. This legal team member will be a key partner and liaison to other impacted Fivetran departments and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a high impact individual contributor who brings deep legal expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to operate independently on complex commercial matters. This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, California office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. Technologies You'll Use Ironclad, SFDC, AI tool What You'll Do Review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts, including customer paper agreements Serve as one of the designated legal contacts on the commercial legal team to Fivetran's enterprise sales team, including sales team education, training and communications related to any changes to customer agreements Serve as one of the primary legal contacts
