VP, Project Delivery - Capital Projects City Baton Rouge Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: Job Summary/Purpose This position is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of Transmission and Distribution capital projects, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective execution of projects to meet customer needs and achieve the identified benefits. Job Duties/Responsibilities Safely oversee project management and construction for the transmission and distribution capital portfolio, managing a five-year portfolio exceeding $15B. Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the execution of the various Stage Gate Processes to ensure that planned projects deliver the benefits identified during project front-end loading and are executed with cost, schedule, and scope certainty. Develop strategic initiatives and goals to achieve excellence in project performance and drive continuous improvement. Ensure processes are scalable. Accountable for implementation and monitoring of company safety measures throughout the Construction Management organization while ensuring adherence to all safety procedures, processes and initiatives. Provide a clear, consistent message to all project contract partners. Ensure that resiliency initiatives are properly incorporated into the T&D capital portfolios.
