Journeyman Serviceman Dist Ops Texas East Region Mgr-DPF57 | State Texas | City Beaumont Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB QUALIFICATIONS Under general supervision, with wide latitude for planning or laying out of working details with responsibility for results, must be willing and able to perform difficult and responsible tasks involved in the installation and removal of electric meters, services, and related equipment on customers' premises, connect and disconnect services at the pole, locate and repair all types of breaks in the electric transmission and distribution systems, answer electric trouble calls to customers' premises, and be qualified to do the following and related work as assigned: Trace and clear grounds and opens on series circuits. Test, switch, and inspect all types of automatic voltage regulating devices. Make routine check, inspection, test of relays, etc. on all automatic reclosing equipment. Refuse all classes of high voltage substations and line fuses. Make routine check, inspection, maintenance and test of substation network protectors, transformers, regulators, switching, control and related equipment. Conduct voltage, load, substation, electrolysis, ground and other special tests. Make complete insulation test on potheads, transformers, cables, bushings, etc. Act in capacity of supervisor when authorized. EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must have worked for at least one year, and qualified, as an Apprentice 4th Year, or have had equivalent experience in related work, having all qualifications of the previous c
