Capital Projects Procurement Specialist, Sr City Jackson Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: ***The preference for this role is to be domiciled in Jackson, MS, but other locations within the service territory maybe considered (LA, AR, MS)** Job Purpose This position will partner with various customer-facing function leaders to ensure desired outcomes for the Customer Centricity Organization. The Capital Project Procurement Specialist utilizes advanced supply chain and capital projects knowledge and experience to implement Supplier Commercial Excellence for an assigned Customer, Marketing, and Innovation Portfolios within the organization. The specialist is Supply Chain's (SC) single point of contact and lead for a given project(s) and supports deployment of Entergy's customer centric capital investment strategy across the company's business units. The role may be assigned to multiple business units to leverage end-to-end value across an assigned portfolio of spend. The specialist supports the identification, development, and execution of customer-centric projects by leading commercial efforts for project planning, development of a commercial strategy, sourcing of contracts and agreements, and for supplier relationship management/performance through vendor management and the commercial contract management processes.
