Project Manager - Power Evacuation Country India Project Manager - Power Evacuation, Pune At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition by building utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure that powers a cleaner future. We need experienced leaders who can turn ambitious plans into operational reality. As our Project Manager - Power Evacuation, you will lead the design, construction, and commissioning of critical power evacuation systems for large-scale solar projects. Your expertise will ensure that every megawatt generated reaches the grid reliably and efficiently. What You'll Do - Own end-to-end execution of power evacuation infrastructure, including AIS/GIS substations, bays, and transmission lines up to 220 kV and above. - Develop detailed execution plans (L1 to L3 schedules) aligned with project timelines, resource availability, and risk assessments. - Lead evaluation and performance management of EPC contractors across scope, schedule, quality, and safety KPIs. - Direct site-level construction activities covering civil, electrical, and structural works for substations and transmission lines. - Manage testing and commissioning of HV equipment including protection systems, SCADA, and grid interfacing. - Drive grid compliance testing including PFR, AVR, Reactive Power Capability, and Voltage Ride Through per CEA/CERC norms. - Monitor budgets, identify critical risks, and implement mitigation plans to prevent execution delays.
