POLICE OFFICER (SPECIAL REACTION TEAM) Barstow, California Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will respond to and investigate complaints and enforce federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), DoD, Naval and Marine Corps regulations and installation directives, rules and regulations. You will perform motorized, walking of bike patrols of installation; respond to emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service. You will respond to and conduct preliminary investigations relating to critical incidents aboard installations. You will subdue and disarm those doing violence to other persons, assists the injured and administer first aid; warns and/or uses force to restrain and apprehend violators. You will gather and analyze the facts, seizes and protects evidence, takes statements, makes diagrams, interviews witnesses and other persons involved and determine course of action. You will perform traffic law enforcement using radar, and Breathalyzer; conduct investigative stops, questions, detains and issues traffic citations; remove hazards from hard surface roadways or structures. You will assure criminal or anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) measures are met to protect installation command and assure mission accomplishment.
