About this role

IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) Bangor, Washington Summary You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) in the Operations Management Department of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. Duties You will manage all facets of the COMSEC program, developing and enforcing local policies for the handling, storage, and accountability of all cryptographic materials to ensure compliance. You will audit and conduct official security inspections of COMSEC accounts, prepare formal reports on findings, and direct corrective actions. You will conduct comprehensive technical risk assessments on new and existing systems using automated tools and manual reviews. You will develop and manage the command's security awareness and training program to ensure all personnel understand and adhere to security policies. You will define and maintain the network architecture, design, configure, install, and optimize core network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. You will manage the complete life cycle of IT and communications equipment for the ICP, ensuring all systems are configured and tested for rapid deployment during exercises or real-world incidents.
