Duties NONAPPROPRIATED FUND POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Retail Manager BUSINESS TITLE: Hobby Center Manager FLSA: Exempt JOB SERIES: 1101 PAY LEVEL: NF-03 INTRODUCTION: This position manages an MCCS Arts and Crafts Center located at Camp S.D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan. The primary purpose is to operate a diversified arts and crafts program designed to stimulate the initiative skills, talents and interests of active duty, retired military, and DoD civilian personnel and their dependents. The position is assigned to Camp Courtney and reports directly to the Retail Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under prior approval of the Retail Manager, devises and adapts such activities to satisfy patron needs, and limitations in funds, facilities, equipment and staff support. Coordinates contracted instructors and volunteers for the various arts and crafts activities, assuring that the quality and integrity of the program is maintained. Supervises subordinate staff in Courtney Arts & Crafts Center, including the planning of work schedules, assignments and deadlines.
