Supervisory IT Specialist (Network Services/Systems Administration) Yokohama North Dock, Japan Summary About the Position: Serves as Chief, Information Management Office (IMO)/Systems Administrator at a U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS). Responsible for Systems Administrator, plans and carries out difficult and complex assignments and develops new methods, approaches and procedures; provides advice and guidance on a wide range and variety of complex IT issues; interprets IT policies, standards and guidelines; conducts analyses and implements resolution of complex issues. Duties Responsible for organization's IT Section which include Customer Service, Computer Training, Programming, Network Management, Operations, Multimedia, Data Communications, and Video Teleconferencing. Recommends guidance in accordance with local policy, Army, DoD and other regulating guidelines for Life Cycle and Configuration Management. Develops organizational work plans, priorities, work assignments, and position structures or personnel requirements that effectively, efficiently and economically carry out the work of the organization.
