EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (Title 32) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (Title 32), Position Description Number D2225P01 and is part of the OK 137th Special Operations Wing, Oklahoma Air National Guard. Duties This position is located in the Civil Engineer (CE) Squadron, Mission Support Group of the Air National Guard (ANG) Wing. This PD is applicable for use in PRIME BEEF Squadrons, but is not appropriate for use in RED HORSE Squadrons. This is an Air National Guard Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The primary purpose of this position is to develop, review, coordinate and execute the wing's Emergency Management (EM) program plan in support of DOD, Joint Service, Air Force, MAJCOM, ANG, Numbered Air Force, federal, state, and county plans in the area(s) of Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery. The position develops, manages and executes the wing EM programs, ensuring effective prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery operations to allow continued mission capability at the wing level. MAJOR DUTIES: Develops, coordinates, obtains approval, and publishes plans and procedures for implementation of wing policies and instructions relating to Emergency Management (EM). Develops, updates, and coordinates the Wing Emergency Management Plan (IEMP) 10-2. Establishes wing emergency management plan objectives, effectively correlating the requirements on interdependent functional areas and provides comprehensive and timely guidance for all units in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs),
