Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement) Multiple Locations Summary This position serves as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement), located in the Justice Management Division, JMD/OBD HR Services, Staffing and Recruitment. ***This position is located in Washington D.C. New employees to the Justice Management Division of the Department of Justice will be required to work on site in our offices in Washington D.C. Current employees of the Justice Management Division may be allowed to remain in their duty station.*** Duties The duties and responsibilities for a GS-0201-Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement)-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervises a group of employees performing work at the GS-13 level. Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Oversees agency-wide internal and external recruitment and placement programs and evaluates them, considering the governing rules and regulations and the short and long-range objectives of the agency. Develops, implements, and integrates the automation and technology strategies for agency recruitment and placement programs. Collaborates with key managers on workforce acquisition, skills retention, quality-of-work-life issues, workforce development and workforce performance and recognition. Provides agency-level expert advice on major organizational planning issues, such as the expected impact of reductions in work force, reorganizations, or other mass changes or situations involving a broad perspective on complex, interrelated actions.
