Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits) Whitehall, Ohio Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Duties As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits), you will be responsible for the following duties: Serves as the Supervisor over a team responsible for the Federal Benefits Program. Assigns work and maintains responsibility for managing and administering benefits programs for all serviced orgs, to include retirement plans, survivor benefits, health benefits, life insurance, and Thrift Savings Plan. Provides service and advice to management officials, Human Resources (HR) specialists and employees at a large variety of CONUS and OCONUS sites. Identifies program issues involving organizational and administrative factors and changes to benefits regulations and laws. Recommends resources to devote to projects; and implements, evaluates, and improves procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the benefits program. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
