About this role
Chief of Staff, to the CPO San Francisco, California GAQ426R358 While candidates in the listed location(s) are encouraged for this role, candidates in other locations will be considered. We're looking for a Chief of Staff to the Chief People Officer (CPO) to help drive operational excellence, strategic alignment, and execution across the Databricks People organization. In this role, you will work closely with the CPO and People Leadership Team to ensure that our strategy, priorities, and operating rhythms are aligned and effectively executed as we scale. You will play a critical role in connecting strategy to execution, enabling strong collaboration across the People Leadership Team and Centers of Excellence, and ensuring the CPO's time and focus are directed toward the most impactful priorities for the company. A key part of this role will be helping support the transformation of the People organization into an AI-first, highly efficient function, identifying opportunities to leverage AI to automate routine work, accelerate insights, improve decision-making, and fundamentally change how the People team operates at scale. The impact you will have: - Drive the operating cadence of the People Leadership Team, including leadership meetings, quarterly and annual planning, and strategic reviews. - Ensure alignment across People functions and Centers of Excellence by linking strategy, planning, and execution. - Partner with functional leaders, PMO and finance to translate company priorities into clear People team objectives and operational plans. - Develop reporting mechanisms and dashboards to track key People metrics, strategic initiatives, and organizational performance, and coordinate
